Typically the anniversary ring is worn on the right hand ring finger so as to not compete with the engagement ring and wedding ring.

At this time anniversary rings do not qualify for our upgrade program but that doesn’t mean that you can’t trade it in down the road for something different. This just means that you won’t get full value for your anniversary ring when trading it in but we always do our best to help you upgrade your jewelry whether or not it was purchased from Kiefer Jewelers.

This is a great option for a 5 year wedding anniversary as it has a stone that represents each year of marriage. These styles can come with any shape or size stones and can be made with either diamonds or gemstones. This is a great option for someone that likes fancy shape stones or wants something that is very blingy. This is what most people think of when they think of an anniversary ring but there are many more options available to us today.

A lot of anniversary rings feature round brilliant cut diamonds but there are some unique styles that feature fancy shaped diamonds like ovals, emerald cuts, or even marquise shaped diamonds. These can cost more as fancy shaped diamonds usually cost more than round brilliant cut diamonds but they are well worth the wow factor. These are great for someone that wants something different that will stand out from the crowd.

Channel Set Anniversary Ring
This is a classic style that is timeless and will never go out of style. A ring that is channel set means that it has two walls of gold on either side of the stones, protecting the stones. Eternity Ring
An eternity ring is a ring where the diamonds or gemstones go all the way around the ring, meaning there is basically no beginning or end to the ring. This can represent your love lasting for eternity and has a beautiful meaning behind it. It is however important to note that eternity rings cannot be resized if you happen to change finger sizes in the future. It’s very important to get an eternity ring that fits correctly as they cannot be adjusted later on. Eternity rings can come with all shapes and sizes of diamonds and usually have to be custom made.

We previously stated that anniversary rings are usually meant to be worn alone but there is a new trend of anniversary rings that can be stacked together, called stackable anniversary rings. These anniversary rings are slim and usually straight so that they can be layered and worn with other rings. They can however be a more delicate setting so this is not a great option for someone that is rough on their jewelry.
